1. INTRODUCTION:
The energy sector is the primary driver of Nigeria's
economy, accounting for the largest portion of the nation's
foreign exchange revenues and GDP. The industry is experiencing a
faster digital change, which has made it more susceptible to
cyberattacks. Electric power systems worldwide have reportedly been
subject to an upsurge in cyber software threats, with the fragility
of the power systems extending beyond simple physical system
safeguarding to include cyber security issues. This demonstrates
how susceptible power systems and the electric sector are to
cyberattacks, which might lead to loss of profits and inefficient
electrical networks. New stakeholders, investment, and technology
have recently entered the Nigerian power sector, focusing on
transforming and modifying the country's power infrastructure.
As a result, a rise in vulnerability to cyberattacks results from

Technology (OT)
