6月28日、国家発展改革委員会が開催した全国ビジネス環境経験交流会において、2020年度の中国ビジネス環境を評価する18指標のそれぞれのトップ20都市が発表された。深セン市は知的財産権の創造、保護、運用の3指標で北京を超え、全国一となった。
深セン市市場監督管理局の統計によると、今年1〜4月、深セン市の特許、実用新案、意匠の登録件数は7万9025件に達し、前年同期比31.95％増加し、広東省全体の30.31％を占めた。この中、特許が1万3629件、前年同期比64.48％増加し、広東省全体の42.58％を占めた。第1四半期の商標登録出願件数が前年同期比31.32％増の13万4000件であり、登録件数が前年同期比52.01％増の13万件となっている。
