2023年、北京市の各知的財産権紛争人民調停委員会は合計1万6397件の紛争を受理した。調停委員会による報告によると、調停が終了した8817件の中で、成功件数は前年比で133.8%増の6612件に上り、調停成功率は74.99%に達した。特に注目すべきは、542件が受理された当日に調停が終了したことである。
この成果について、北京市知的財産権保護センターは最近、「2023年北京市知的財産権紛争人民調停データ年次報告書」を発表し、詳細なデータと今後の展望を提供している。年次報告書によると、過去5年間で北京の知的財産権紛争調停の受理件数は大幅に増加し、2023年は2019年と比較して135.56%の増加を見せた。
2023年には各調停委員会において、調停が成功した案件の中で、当事者が自ら調停を依頼した案件の割合が顕著に増加し、前年比で28.11%の上昇を記録した。特に、調停委員会のサービスを受けている会員企業からの依頼案件は42.38%を占め、これは87.61%の増加である。裁判所からの依頼案件が減少する一方で、当事者自身からの依頼が増える傾向は、知的財産権紛争の根本的な解決に向けた取り組みが効果が表れていると言える。
