「中国トップ500社2024」ランキングがこのほど発表された。このランキングは、中国企業連合会と中国企業家協会が2023年の企業売上高を基準に選出したもので、今回で23年連続の発表となる。
ランキングの結果から、研究開発（R&D）が企業のイノベーションと成長を促す重要な要素であることが浮き彫りになった。2023年における入選企業のR&D投資額は前年に比べ14.89％増加し、総額は1兆8137億元に達した。また、R&D強度（売上高に占める研究開発費の割合）は7年連続で上昇し、今年は過去最高の1.90％に達した。
さらに、イノベーションの成果として、入選企業の保有する有効専利（特許、実用新案、意匠を含む）の総数は前年より14万4400件増加し、202万9700件に達した。このうち、有効特許の件数は前年比19.67％増の88万9600件となり、専利全体に占める割合は43.83％で、前年より4.40％増加し、イノベーション分野での成長が顕著だった。
