As legal leaders in Canada, we are duty-bound to act to generate
the positive impact we want to see in our businesses, institutions
and communities. With this conviction, we have established, through
the generosity of general counsels and law firm managing partners
across Canada, The Legal Leaders for Diversity Trust Fund which
aims to promote equal access to legal education and diversity in
Canadian law faculties through the award of scholarships to
students with physical, mental, intellectual or sensory
impairment.
Through these scholarships, we wish to foster inclusion within
the Canadian legal community, to secure its sustainability and the
long-term success of our organizations and the communities in which
we do business.
