Jenny has a busy practice representing clients in financial remedies and Children Act proceedings. Jenny takes a client-centred approach in all matters and has been described as presenting as counsel “with several years under her belt”.

Jenny regularly represents clients at all stages of financial remedies proceedings including where issues such as conduct, non-disclosure of assets, third party intervenors and enforcement have arisen.

Jenny is instructed in both private and public children matters, many of which involve allegations of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, coercive and controlling behaviour, intractable hostility, mental health issues and substance abuse. Jenny has also represented applicants and respondents in relocation cases involving both Hague Convention and Non-Hague Convention countries.

Jenny has represented both applicants and respondents in Family Law Act proceedings.

Jenny is a member of the Bar Council’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel. Background Prior to coming to the Bar, Jenny studied Law and French at the University of Bristol, which included a year studying French law at the University of Bordeaux. Jenny subsequently worked as Cabin Crew for Virgin Atlantic Airways, which provided invaluable life experience. She then completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) and achieved a grade of ‘Outstanding’ in Family Law, before working as a paralegal in the Children Law department of a firm on the Western Circuit. Whilst training, Jenny volunteered with the National Centre for Domestic Violence and taught debating to prisoners in HMP Pentonville as part of the Vocalise scheme. Jenny joins St John’s Chambers from 36 Family where she remains a Door Tenant.
