Crime

Thomas has a busy common law practice with an emphasis on Serious Crime and Regulatory work. His potential has been noted at an early stage and he is often instructed in matters beyond his level of call.

Appearing in the Crown Court and County Court on a daily basis, Thomas routinely conducts high-profile and sensitive cases. He is regularly instructed in cases involving murder, rape, fraud and drugs conspiracies.

Thomas prides himself on his approachable style ensuring clients are at ease and informed of the proceedings they face. His common law background provides a broad and comprehensive platform to deliver sound and reliable advice. In suitable cases, Thomas may able to accept instructions from members of the public on a direct access basis.

Thomas was appointed a Deputy District Judge on the Wales Circuit in July 2024.

Thomas returned to South Wales in 2019 having previously successfully completed the BPTC at Cardiff University with an 'Outstanding' grade. He was awarded the Wales and Chester Circuit Achievement Award for the highest overall grade of his cohort.

In his spare time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his young family, playing football and travelling.
