Career

Amelia is a member of the CPS general crime panel, who regularly both defends and prosecutes matters in the Crown Court.

Prior to joining Chambers, she was a qualified Solicitor Advocate within a busy criminal practice in Swansea. Amelia gained many years of experience dealing with criminal cases from the early stages at the police station through to the Magistrates and Crown Court. She has conducted trials involving vulnerable witnesses and expert evidence and has successfully dealt with disposals in the Crown Court under the Mental Health Act.

Amelia has appeared regularly in the Youth Court and has dealt with cases such as Robbery and S.18 GBH and has made applications under S.45 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Amelia has further gained experience in Regulatory Crime in both the Magistrates and Crown Court.

Amelia is Cyber Essentials Plus accredited.
