Position

Phillip is a chancery and commercial practitioner who is particularly adept at property litigation, including boundary disputes, as well as contentious trusts and Inheritance Act matters. His commercial practice includes contractual claims and insolvency disputes.

Phillip is also noted for his effective advocacy in employment matters and his extensive experience in contractual and other common law disputes. He has a strong contentious probate practice, and remains frequently instructed by individuals, companies and public bodies alike in the areas of work detailed below. He has been consistently recommended in both the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 guides.

In the Chambers UK Guide 2025, Phillips has been ranked as Band 1 for Real Estate Litigation, and Band 2 for Chancery.
