Zac practices in commercial, data protection, employment, human rights, media, public, public international, procurement and sports law.

Zac has been involved in substantial and complex litigation across commercial, data protection, employment, human rights, media, public, public international, procurement and sports law. He is often instructed in cases where those areas intersect. He has appeared in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, every division of the High Court, the EAT, the CAT and a number of specialist first-tier tribunals, as well as the International Court of Justice. Two of his ongoing cases are in the Lawyer’s top 20 cases of 2025 (Al Haq v Secretary of State for Business and Trade and GB News v Ofcom). He has also appeared in some of the most high profile international cases of recent years (including acting for Palestine in advisory opinion proceedings concerning Israel’s occupation of the OPT). Zac is often instructed to undertake advocacy against more senior opponents, including established Kings Counsel.

Zac enjoys combat sports. He competed at an amateur level in boxing and Muay Thai for a number of years, and now competes at a recreational level in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
