The Clerks are efficient and helpful.

The clerks are helpful and able to tailor fees based on our needs. They always try to fit the requested barristers in, and are flexible throughout the duration of a matter, offering alternative barristers where appropriate.

The clerks at Iscoed are a small, close knit group who go out of their way to assist in any way they can. They are attentive and provide incredibly quick responses to queries.

The Clerks in the civil team are helpful and actively clerk cases upon behalf of their barristers; they make contact with instructing solicitors regularly to check on progress of case and they will pursue Counsel upon our behalf if contact is required.

The Clerks in the Employment Team are very helpful and accommodating.

Excellent – always try to provide availability

Excellent training programme run by George Pollit to assist next generation of specialist employment barristers

I believe George Pollitt to be their shining light in relation to employment work.

The set is very good and helpful. Iscoed provides barristers who are experts in employment law and I know that I am in safe hands when instructing one of their barristers. Their fees are very competitive and offer better value for money than sets nearer to London, while offering an equally good service.

We always receive an excellent service from Iscoed Chambers, we have developed close links with all of the Employment Team at Chambers. Counsel have been willing to provide expert training sessions to our trade union clients on a range of relevant issues.

We use Iscoed Chambers very frequently, they provide a very good service.

Iscoed Chambers is a leading, successful and long-established barristers’ chambers based in Swansea, with a large client base throughout Wales and the South West of England.

The set: Iscoed Chambers is passionate about the delivery of excellent advocacy and advisory services to its clients. The set is multi-disciplinary with specialists in each of the areas of work identified below. Though many of the more senior members of chambers have honed their skills in the criminal courts, chambers has a long tradition of excellence in the field of civil law. Former members of chambers have included a senior Court of Appeal judge and a leader of the House of Lords. Chambers is fortunate to be able to provide an environment in which its junior members can flourish and gain wide experience before specialising in their chosen fields. Chambers recognises that the needs of its clients go beyond the provision of excellent advocacy and advice. Such services need to be complemented and supported by an efficient and well-administered management and clerking structure. The fact that chambers has management and clerking procedures of the highest standards is evidenced by the fact that the set was the first chambers in Wales to be awarded the Legal Service Commission’s Quality Mark for the Bar. Chambers’ clerks are friendly and approachable and communication with members of chambers is not limited to office hours. Chambers is resistant to rigid modes of thinking and endeavours to provide an adaptive and responsive service to its clients. Chambers also provides a learning and education service through the provision of lectures, seminars and conferences throughout the year.
