Senior Associate

Taschina Ashmeade (She/Her/Hers) is a senior associate in the Corporate and Regulatory Insurance groups at Dentons. Taschina’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, which includes assisting clients with private mergers and acquisitions and regulatory insurance matters. Taschina also has experience assisting clients with financing transactions and domestic and cross-border corporate reorganizations. She brings a decade of experience in the financial industry to clients.

Prior to practising law, Taschina gained extensive experience in retail branch banking, notably, as an assistant branch manager at a major financial institution. While at Bank of Montreal, Taschina received the “Best of the Best” designation for leading a non-performing branch to the top quartile in less than a year. Taschina is certified by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada as a branch compliance officer and mutual funds sales representative. She is also an accredited lender in personal and commercial lending through Bank of Montreal.

Taschina graduated from the J.D. program at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. She also studied European law at Lund University in Sweden.
