Career

Christine Worthington is a partner in the Construction and Engineering Team.

She specialises in construction law advice with experience in the delivery of energy, engineering, commercial property and infrastructure developments of national significance.

Having specialised in construction law for over 20 years Christine has experience with all major industry standard form contracts (NEC, SBC, JCT, FIDIC, IChemE and LOGIC) PPP/NPD contracts as well as bespoke contracts. She acts for a range of different clients including owners, developers, contractors, authorities, consortia and lenders on delivery of transport projects, project financed developments and major engineering projects as well as property development and enhancement schemes.

Christine works in the energy and climate change sector across renewables, offshore and onshore wind, coal and nuclear generation as well as district heating and solar projects.

Christine is also ranked in Chambers & Partners (Band 1), recognised in Who’s Who Legal and ranked as a leading partner in Legal 500 where her testimonial notes she “is a leader in the sector”.  Challenging herself to learn new skills Christine is now an Accredited Mediator (CeDR).  Christine has spoken at a number of events, written a number of articles and lectured on the Construction Law LLM at the University of Strathclyde.
