In a standout highlight at the US Supreme Court, a team led by New Haven-based practice head Jonathan Freiman acted for the petitioner in Federal Republic of Germany v Philipp, an art dispute which involved interpretation of the expropriation exception under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.
