The 'experienced' department led by 'professional' senior manager Carlos Gaitán and Héctor Mancía focuses particularly on all stages of tax controversy processes before the tax administration, appeal forums and courts, including constitutional process litigation. Gaitán brings hands-on experience working for El Salvador's tax authority to the table and is well equipped to handle issues such as double taxation, tax information exchange and tax benefits. In addition to its vast judicial experience, the team is also active in tax advisory services and assists with the fiscal aspects of transactions.
