Career

Alejandro is a partner at Nader Hayaux Goebel and one of Mexico’s foremost lawyers in infrastructure, energy, project finance, and real estate investment. Recognized as Legal 500’s 2026 Lawyer of the Year in Projects & Infrastructure, he brings a rare combination of technical depth, transactional sophistication, and sector-spanning expertise that few practitioners in the market can match.

His practice centers on high-complexity transactions at the intersection of public and private capital — from structuring landmark public-private partnerships to advising on major energy and infrastructure projects across Mexico. He pioneered the first PPS projects for the states of Mexico and Sonora and has since remained at the center of the country’s most significant PPP transactions, spanning hospitals, highways, water treatment, energy, and gas infrastructure.

On the real estate and hospitality front, Alejandro is the advisor of choice for leading multinational hotel, tourism, and leisure groups entering or expanding in Mexico, covering complex real estate investments, mega-developments, time-share structures, and project financing. His cross-sector fluency extends to financial institutions, where he regularly counsels lenders and investors participating in tourism, energy, and infrastructure transactions.
