Specialist in mining and environmental law, water resources, and administrative law.
She advises public and private sector companies —both domestic and international— as well as government entities on natural resources matters, including the management of licenses, permits, and authorizations, and the approval of environmental management instruments for the development of investment projects in the mining, energy, hydrocarbon, transportation, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
Mariana also advises on legal audits in environmental and mining matters, assisting companies across various sectors with regulatory and environmental compliance. She represents clients in administrative sanctioning proceedings before regulatory authorities, including the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency (OEFA), the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (OSINERGMIN), and the National Water Authority (ANA), among others.
She was an international associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York.
