Giovani Bruno Ruiz Tomasoni has more than 16 years dedicated to environmental law. He joined the Firm in 2008 and since then has increased his professional skills in according to the new approach of environmental law in the recent years that requires a more holistic view of matters in connection to ESG, human rights, climate change, biodiversity, energy transformation and circular economy. His professional skills meet client's needs to deliver a business oriented recommendations in a time-sensitive scenario.

He worked in the NGO Minority Rights (London) in 2008 in the construction of the campaign 'A show of hands' about the impacts of climate change on world minorities. Has been involved recently in relevant advisories connected to carbon investments, biodiversity sensitive matters and the challenges of circular economy.

Education

He graduated from Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo with a degree in Law and from Pontifícia Unviersidade Católica São Paulo with specialization in Public Law. He also holds a master's degree in Environmental Law from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1). Has also obtained ESG expertise with Berkeley Law, and Human Rights capabilities with the United Nations.
