Position
John Holton represents asset managers on the launch and restructuring of private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and hedge funds. He advises on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulations and is an acknowledged expert on how these regulations apply to non-U.S. firms.
Advising numerous funds targeting emerging markets including Asian, African, South American and Middle Eastern markets, John has particular experience with Indian private equity fund launches.
