After the departure of practice head Karen Bexley in 2019, Gareth Matthews was promoted to head of department at MLP Law LLP, which acts for large international corporations, SMEs and high-level executives in the North West, handling both contentious and non-contentious employment issues. It primarily advises clients in the hospitality, retail, construction, and chemical manufacturing sectors.
