Testimonials
‘Markel Law has a tremendous team of employment lawyers, who are all excellent in their field. They are particularly good at, and experienced in, representing small business owners. I am very struck that, unlike their competitors, they take the time to understand their clients’ business as well as their legal needs . The firm is very tech savvy and clients reap the benefits of very good litigation support.’
‘It is often easy for someone with a legal background to forget that their clients do not, however with Markel Law, we have not found that with these solicitors in particular, they take the relevant time to explain the justification behind the advice and strategy presented which is greatly appreciated.’
‘We have worked with Markel Law for a number of years where they have offered both employment advice and support with a claim being filed with an employment tribunal. The solicitors we have worked with offer a holistic approach and strategy to dealing with the individual cases with a clear explanation as to the implications of each. The solicitors maintain ongoing contact throughout the case and are flexible to work according to our needs.’
‘Employment law knowledge experts, full collaboration with any legal projects that we need assistance with e.g. updating contracts, employee handbook. Drafting settlement agreements and advising on changes in legislation where relevant is invaluable. The team are up to date with employment legislation and the advice offered is always balanced so we can make the most appropriate decisions right for our business.’
‘Toby McArdle is very knowledgeable and able to explain in plain English language. He is just wonderful and very helpful.’
‘The team is able to signpost us to individuals who understand the social care sector and this is what is most impressive about Markel as a firm. Their advisors and lawyers communicate in a way which is straightforward, giving as much time as required, I have never felt any time pressure during a discussion.’
‘Edward Pearce is our dedicated named employment solicitor. We have worked with Edward for several years and he always provides sound advice on any situation. He knows our business, the structure, the challenges and recommends the best possible outcome for any employment relation cases or general legal advice.’
