Dilruba is a Barrister-at Law. She joined the firm in 2010. Since December 2023 she holds the positions of partner and director at Uteem Chambers.

Dilruba regularly advises on corporate finance, guarantee, structured finance, project finance, trade finance, venture capital, general company law and corporate matters involving international banks, financial institutes and other multinational corporations.

She drafts and reviews various corporate and legal documents including loan agreements, constitutions, resolutions, PPMs, shareholders agreements, subscription agreements, guarantees, internal manuals, compliance manuals and policies, legal certificates and legal opinions. She drafts and reviews various Mauritius law governed security documents and coordinate with the relevant authorities for registering and perfecting relevant security interests in Mauritius. She undertakes and supervises the release of various security interests registered in Mauritius by drafting the release documents and coordinating with the relevant authorities to ensure that the releases are effected. She regularly carries out due diligence investigations on companies incorporated in Mauritius.
