Having trained at a firm in London, James qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and has worked in Bishop’s Stortford, Cambridge and latterly Saffron Walden for most of the time since qualification. James has a wide breadth of experience in commercial property transactions, acting for both corporate clients and also for individuals.
His workload includes acting for developers of residential and mixed use schemes, taking transactions through from first principles through to acquisition, build out and disposal. He also deals with planning and infrastructure documentation for such schemes as well as all aspects of disposals.
He is involved in a number of transactions for agricultural and other land owning clients including the purchase and sale of farms and farmland, strategic options and promotion agreements.
He also has a wide experience of landlord and tenant and general commercial property transactions, including corporate support and refinancing.
