Position

Emily specialises on investment funds and financial services regulatory work, advising managers on the formation, operation and regulation of UK regulated funds. She regularly assists with fund launches, schemes of arrangement and other fund restructuring matters, as well as providing advice to clients on the eligibility of proposed investments for their UCITS funds.

Emily also advises financial institutions and their asset management arms, institutional asset managers and boutique fund houses on a range of regulatory matters including the FCA’s sustainability disclosure and labelling regime and the Overseas Funds Regime.

She has spent time on secondment with one of the UK’s largest institutional managers, supporting a number of projects relating to the operation and distribution of its UK and EU authorised fund ranges.

Emily also regularly assists clients with the drafting and negotiation of investment management agreements relating to their fund ranges and segregated accounts.
