Jon qualified as a solicitor in 1983, having obtained his law degree from Cardiff University.

Jon is a highly experienced lawyer and having previously advised in a variety of legal areas such criminal law and as a founder member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel, has specialised in residential and commercial law for many years.

After qualifying and working in Reading, Jon founded Brain Chase Coles Solicitors in 1995 and is now a director at Phillips.

Jon has an excellent reputation with commercial and residential property agents and professionals working in the sector across north Hampshire and further afield. He has acted for landlords and tenants across the region and is highly experienced in issues including the acquisition and disposal of freehold properties and commercial leases.

Jon also specialises in residential property transactions involving complex property matters related to registered and unregistered land. Many of Jon’s clients trust him to handle the sale and purchase of their property portfolios on a regular basis and Jon takes pride in developing close working relationships with his clients.
