Maciej specializes in commercial law. He has experience in providing regular corporate services to companies from the pharmaceutical sector and foundations operating in health care, including registration proceedings. He also develops his expertise in pharmaceutical law. As part of ongoing services to clients, he prepares such corporate documents as resolutions, minutes of meetings or applications for changing an entry in the National Court Register. He helps identify real beneficiaries and report them to the Central Register of Real Beneficiaries (CRBR). He prepares adjustments to internal regulations and policies for making payments to the requirements of the Act on counteracting excessive delays in commercial transactions. He also evaluates advertising materials for medicinal products in terms of the requirements of pharmaceutical law and combating unfair competition, in particular in comparative advertising. Katarzyna Bajer
Katarzyna supports companies active in the Life Sciences sector, especially pharmaceutical companies. Her professional interests include pharmaceutical and medical law, as well as intellectual property law. In day-to-day practice, she prepares legal opinions in the field of pharmaceutical law, including Reimbursement law. She analyses contracts, prepares letters regarding parallel import of medicinal products, and is a member of the team advising clients on IP matters. Agata specializes in pharmaceutical and labour law. For more than two decades she has been supporting legal entities from the pharmaceutical, medical, and cosmetic sectors in their business projects. She has extensive experience in ongoing advisory services covering civil, commercial, and labour law. Agata is often invited to participate in the work on legislative changes in pharmaceutical law and labour law. The scope of her expertise includes such issues as: advertising and promotional activities, including promotion and advertising of medicinal products and food supplements, also umbrella brands. distribution and logistics projects, including the development of distribution systems and support in connection with the inspections of pharmaceutical wholesalers carried out by the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector. preparation and implementation of compliance procedures (compliance with legal regulations, in particular with pharmaceutical law). commercial contracts concerning, among others, the supply and manufacture of medicinal products and food supplements, as well as contracts for the provision of promotional services for these products. contracts on the research and development of food supplements, cosmetics, and medical devices. She participates in projects for the acquisition of rights to medicinal products and food supplements. Henryk specializes in commercial, civil, and labour law, in real estate matters and, more broadly, in all areas of law related to business activity. He started his professional career as an in-house legal counsel, then he managed the legal departments in large companies. In 1990, he set up a law firm and has been supporting business as an external counsel from the very beginning of the economic transformation process. Henryk constantly develops and expands his qualifications. He put at his clients’ disposal decades of procedural experience gained in court and administrative proceedings involving both domestic and foreign entities. He was also a liquidator of state-owned enterprises and commercial law companies, and a member of supervisory boards of companies with State Treasury shareholding and private companies. Katarzyna specializes in the area of Life Sciences and medical law, particularly medical device law, while having significant experience in civil and business law. She has been advising businesses related to the medical sector for almost 15 years. For the past 10 years she has been running a legal blog on medical devices: Wyroby medyczne okiem Temidy (Medical devices in Temida’s view). Katarzyna assists manufacturers, importers and distributors of medical devices, cosmetic products and personal care products in establishing strategies for operating in the processes of marketing products, ensuring regulatory compliance and developing safe marketing activities. Andrzej focuses on pharmaceutical and medical law as well as industrial property law and commercial law issues specific to the Life Sciences sector. He has been advising pharmaceutical companies and health care providers for a number of years. He participates in the work on legislative changes in ​​pharmaceutical and reimbursement law. Andrzej advises clients on projects concerning marketing medicinal products, reimbursement processes, and contracts typical for the pharmaceutical market. He provides holistic support for complex interdisciplinary projects involving regulatory, reimbursement, industrial property, and competition law. These projects include European market access strategies for new medicinal products (including orphan drugs), products’ rights acquisition transactions covering several European countries, and strategies for entering the generic drug market from day 1 after the original product IP protection expires. Mirosław Zapała
Mirosław specialises in life sciences market regulations, compliance and business ethics issues, legal risk management in large business organizations and NGOs. He started his legal career as a legal assistant to the board of directors during the entry of a multinational pharmaceutical company. For eighteen years he was the legal director of the Polish part and for many years a member of the European legal leadership team of one of the largest global pharmaceutical companies. More recently, he has focused on building compliance structures, with a particular emphasis on healthcare compliance and anti-corruption in the broadest sense. He is active in the field of humanitarian aid and international humanitarian law. Throughout his career, Mirosław has dealt with legal issues in pharmaceutical regulations, compliance and legal risk management, intellectual property, product launch strategies, M&A, restructuring, corporate governance and crisis management. In 2017, Mirosław was included in the Legal 500 list of the most influential legal directors in Central and Eastern Europe (‘GC Powerlist CEE’).
