Senior Managing Associate

Sertaç Kocahal is a corporate, M&A and ESG lawyer. He has assisted national and multinational clients and provided corporate secretarial services, including but not limited to capital increases, general assemblies and other corporate matters. He represented national and multinational clients in various M&A transactions, including intra-group mergers and investments made by angel investors and venture capitalists in start-ups. Before joining PKS, he practiced competition law in one of the most recognized local law firm specialized in competition law in Turkey. He attended several on-going investigations and preliminary investigations regarding competition law issues, and he participated in dawn raids conducted by the Turkish Competition Authority. Sertaç holds an LL.B from Bilkent University and graduated as an “honour student”. He is currently continuing his postgraduate studies in the field of Law and Sustainable Development at the Faculty of Law at the University of Milan in Italy. He is a member of Istanbul Bar Association and he is fluent in English.
