Daniel Dubelman
Daniel has extensive experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies, along with other public and private companies, on a broad range of complex transactions, including platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, strategic mergers, structured growth investments, dispositions, special situations transactions and joint ventures. He also counsels clients on various general corporate and governance matters. Daniel has led numerous transactions across a wide variety of industry verticals for distinguished private equity clients, including Brentwood Associates, Emerald Lake Capital Management, FTV Capital, Highview Capital, KKR and Oaktree Capital Management. Among other accolades, Daniel has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer for M&A: Middle-Market (Sub-$500M), as well as by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a Leader of Influence: Private Equity, Investors & Advisors.  He also currently teaches M&A Due Diligence as an Adjunct Professor at the UCLA School of Law. Daniel began his career in the corporate department at Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles, and he was a Partner at a boutique law firm prior to joining Massumi + Consoli.

Sean has extensive experience advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, other strategic investment firms and other public and private companies on the technology, software, intellectual property, cybersecurity and data privacy aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings and other complex transactions. Sean’s range of capabilities include drafting and negotiating various technology agreements and related documentation, such as software and technology licenses, distribution and reseller arrangements, data processing and sharing agreements and joint research and development. His industry experience includes digital media, enterprise and consumer software, consumer packaged goods, sports, retail, blockchain and cryptocurrency and energy. Sean has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Intellectual Property Law. Prior to joining Massumi + Consoli, Sean practiced at Vinson & Elkins. In law school, Sean was a member of the Texas Law Review.
