Sean has extensive experience advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, other strategic investment firms and other public and private companies on the technology, software, intellectual property, cybersecurity and data privacy aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings and other complex transactions.

Sean’s range of capabilities include drafting and negotiating various technology agreements and related documentation, such as software and technology licenses, distribution and reseller arrangements, data processing and sharing agreements and joint research and development.

His industry experience includes digital media, enterprise and consumer software, consumer packaged goods, sports, retail, blockchain and cryptocurrency and energy.

Sean has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Intellectual Property Law.

Prior to joining Massumi + Consoli, Sean practiced at Vinson & Elkins.

In law school, Sean was a member of the Texas Law Review.
