About Medina Osório
The law firm Medina Osório Advogados was founded on 27 March 2007, in Porto Alegre, when Fábio Medina Osório left the Public Prosecutor's Office of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, following a successful career within that institution, to begin practising law.
In 2011, the firm embarked on its expansion, having already established itself as a leading name in the Brazilian legal arena, particularly in the fields of Public and Administrative Law. This expansion was marked by the opening of its Rio de Janeiro office on 28 June 2011.
In 2017, upon Fábio Medina Osório’s return to the leadership of the firm—after observing the mandatory quarantine period following his role as Attorney-General of Brazil in 2016—further expansion was undertaken with the establishment of the Brasília office.
