Al Doseri Law is pleased to announce that, in collaboration with our strategic partner GLA & Company, it has advised on the completion of Al Ansari Financial Services’ acquisition of Bahrain Financing Company Group Holdings, one of the GCC’s most prominent and high-value financial services acquisitions.

This acquisition solidifies Al Ansari Financial Services’ position as the largest non-banking financial institution in the Gulf Cooperation Council in terms of branch network.

Working in tandem with its joint venture partners and lead counsel for the transaction, GLA & Co., Al Doseri Law extended its legal services to advise on all Bahraini law related matters pertaining to the deal.

The Al Doseri Law team was led by Founding Partner Saad Al Doseri and comprised Senior Associate Shooq Nimah, Trainee Lawyer Noor Fathalla and Paralegal Diana Ahmad.

The acquisition was completed in April 2025. The USD$200 million transaction expands Al Ansari Financial Services’ presence across Bahrain, Kuwait and India, increasing the Group’s customer base by 29% and branch network by 60%. The integration of BFC enhances the company’s operational scale and geographic diversification, creating substantial value for shareholders, customers, and employees.
