looking forward to helping shape Annerton’s future as an Equity Partner, further strengthening our standing in the market, and expanding our range of advisory services in the banking and financial sector,” Prinz explains.
“We are very proud to have been able to attract a top-tier banking regulatory expert like Renate Prinz to our boutique,” emphasizes Frank Müller, LL.M., founding partner and managing director of Annerton. “With her extensive leadership experience, she will help us further expand our office in
the financial hub of Frankfurt. In addition, her international network complements ours extremely well and will further increase our visibility in the Anglo-American market,” Müller adds. Equity Partner Renate Prinz is an expert in banking supervisory law, corporate law and M&A, compliance, as well as all areas of financial and financial services regulation, including the supervision
of investment firms. Prior to joining Annerton, she spent many years at the international law firms Linklaters LLP and McDermott Will & Schulte LLP in the areas of Corporate, M&A and Financial Regulatory. There, she advised banks, financial services providers and other regulated companies on

business strategy.
“With its clear focus on financial regulatory law, Annerton is by far the most exciting law firm in the market for me. Particularly in the area of financial market regulation, experience and industry knowledge are essential. This is where I see Annerton as especially well positioned,” Prinz explains,
adding: “Annerton is also highly agile, modern and flexible. I believe it is crucial not only to keep pace with digital and technological developments, but to continue growing with them. Annerton has the greatest potential for this.”
Renate Prinz regularly publishes in professional journals on regulatory and corporate law topics. She is also an author in the Crypto-Assets Commentary (Kalss / Krönke / Völkel) published by C.H. Beck, contributing on the licensing procedure for crypto-asset service providers (MiCA regulation).
