Career

Born in Amalfi in 1937, graduated in Jurisprudence in 1960. He started out immediately on his professional career and in 1963 was admitted to the Roll of Advocates and Attorneys of Milan.

He soon consolidated his experience of civil and commercial law, before then concentrating mainly on legal advice and assistance, including in an extrajudicial capacity, in the field of Labour, Trade unions and Social Security Law. Since 1970 he’s involved mainly in the banking sector, due to demand for his services from leading Italian credit institutions and also those from outside Italy operating in the country, and from his handling of many important cases all over Italy, as well as his advice and assistance in related cases of mergers, windings-up and transfers of business and/or parts of a business.

In 2001, in partnership with Fabrizio Daverio, he founded the law firm of Studio Legale Daverio & Florio.

In 2013 he celebrated 50 years in the profession and received his medal from the President of the Order in Milan.
