The firm: Assegaf Hamzah & Partners is a full-service law firm that was founded by Fikri Assegaf and Chandra Hamzah in 2001. Since its tie-up with Rajah & Tann, the firm’s growth has continued apace. In October 2013, it merged with boutique competition practice Rizkiyana & Iswanto, making it an Indonesian market leader in competition law. Then, in early 2016, it opened its new Surabaya office as part of its ongoing strategy to bring international quality legal services to major commercial and industrial centers across the country.
