Senior Associate

Shivani is a dual-qualified corporate and transactional lawyer with over 8 years of experience.

She is currently a Senior Associate at Hamdan Al Shamsi Lawyer & Legal Consultants where she advises institutional and corporate clients across sectors on a wide range of corporate advisory and transactional matters.

She regularly supports family offices, venture capital firms, start-ups, and international companies on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, share and asset transfers, and business expansion in and outside the UAE.

She provides end-to-end support on transactions, including structuring, legal due diligence, drafting, negotiating, and closing definitive agreements.

In addition to transactional work, Shivani advises clients on day-to-day commercial and regulatory matters, including employment, data protection, foreign direct investment, and corporate governance. She is experienced in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier and service agreements, consultancy contracts, distributorship agreements, and loan and financing documentation.

Prior to joining Hamdan AlShamsi, Shivani was a Senior Associate at EY Law, where she advised on complex cross-border corporate, transactional and regulatory matters.
