At Irwin Mitchell Scotland LLP, I am involved in a variety of personal injury claims including employment related accidents, industrial diseases such as vibration white finger, industrial deafness and asbestos related conditions and a wide range of cases ranging from straightforward falls to cases with complex legal issues and significant injuries. I assess the cases coming into the Personal Injury department in Glasgow and advise clients on their prospects. I have extensive experience of instructing and preparing cases in the Court of Session, the senior civil court in Scotland, and also of conducting personal injury cases in sheriff courts throughout Scotland.

Laura Irvine

Head of the Regulatory Team at Davidson Chalmers Stewart, Laura is an Accredited Specialist in Data Protection law and a Solicitor Advocate. She represents clients who find themselves in trouble with a range of regulators and as a former prosecutor, is well placed to assist with investigations and prosecutions. She is passionate about data protection and information law and was part of the only legal team in the UK to have successfully overturned a DPA fine. She provides contentious and non-contentious advice in this complex area of law across a range of sectors from big tech to charities. She wrote the Law Society of Scotland’s Guide to the GDPR and chairs the Society’s Privacy Committee.
Kim Leslie

Kim Leslie

Kim is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde and qualified in 1999. She joined Digby Brown in 2000. She is a partner within the Edinburgh office and head of the Non-Accidental team. A team dedicated to representing those abused in childhood or otherwise deliberately harmed. She has extensive experience of all types of personal injury work and Kim is both accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury Law and is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). She is also a member of the Ogden Working Party, was a Chair of the Civil Justice Committee for the Law Society (from 2009 - 2019) and is currently the Executive Director of Association of Child Abuse Lawyers (June 2020 - present). As Chair of ‘Restoring the Balance of Justice’, Kim lead a campaign involving national and international experts and campaigners aiming to overcome barriers to justice in Scotland for victims of stalking and harassment. Kim is also a panel member of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers (ACAL) and was Highly Commended in the Scottish Law Awards 2022.

Henrietta Talbot

Director in Environmental, Waste and Renewables team with focus on rural business. Deals with a wide range of property and rural land matters, including work on forestry plantation agreements, advising on property project contracts, options and leases, property security documentation, acquisitions and disposals, and provides transactional support on the property and project elements of corporate sales and acquisitions. She also conducts property due diligence and advises on financings and sales, including heritable title and Certificate of title for funders.
