Partner and Head of Serious Injury
Career
As Head of the Serious Injury team in Scotland, I represent clients in complex, high-value claims involving traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and polytrauma. Aside from securing the compensation my clients need, I’m also focused on achieving the best possible rehabilitation outcomes.
I’ve specialised in personal injury claims for well over a decade, helping people affected by life-changing injuries secure the support and resources they need to move forward.
My decision to pursue a career in law was driven by a desire to help others and make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. That motivation continues to shape my approach today. I understand that a serious injury can have a profound impact not only on the injured person, but also on their family, affecting every aspect of daily life and future plans.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing the positive impact that rehabilitation can have on everyday life. By securing substantial interim payments and compensation, I’m able to help clients access private rehabilitation, specialist equipment, care packages, home adaptations and suitable accommodation. Knowing that this support can improve a client’s independence, wellbeing and quality of life is incredibly fulfilling.
I’m proud to be accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Personal Injury Law and by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a Senior Litigator. I’m also a certified Trauma-Informed Lawyer, reflecting my commitment to supporting clients with sensitivity, understanding and expertise throughout the legal process.
Working alongside highly skilled and dedicated colleagues enables us to collectively provide the best possible support for those facing some of life's most challenging circumstances.
This line of work is about more than achieving compensation. It’s about helping injured people and their families rebuild their lives and regain confidence in the future by accessing the support they need to achieve the best possible outcome after serious injury.
