Avance Attorneys Ltd recently advised CVC Capital Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in Mehiläinen group. Banking and finance Tier 2
Sari Wallgren and Selinda Näse jointly lead the practice at Avance Attorneys Ltd; Wallgren advises banks and borrowers, and Näse focuses on domestic and cross-border financing transactions. Recent highlights include assisting Keskisuomalainen with the refinancing of its bank facilities and acting for Mercator Capital on a €31m secured financing arrangement.

EU and competition Tier 2
Avance Attorneys Ltd recently acted for The Federation of the Finnish Media Industry in its claim regarding alleged illegal state aid provided to public broadcaster Yleisradio; it also represented clients including Tradeka-Yhtiöt, Colosseum Dental Group and Stockmann in merger control proceedings. The practice is led by Mikko Alkio and also fields senior associates Katja Jaakkola and Elina Saviharju.
Real estate and construction Tier 2
Christoffer Charpentier and Mathias Lindqvist jointly lead the department at Avance Attorneys Ltd, which primarily acts for clients in transactional matters.
