Sebastian Hoppe has been working as an attorney at law at CBH since 2020. Prior to that, he spent nearly 10 years working as an in-house counsel for two major natural gas transmission system operators. During his legal clerkship, he gained experience in the energy sector as a research assistant for a major German energy law firm and a German energy conglomerate, as well as an intern at the European Commission (Directorate-General for Energy).

Sebastian Hoppe advises energy utilities as well as major federal and state agencies on complex energy and infrastructure projects. His practice focuses on grid expansion, power generation, and modern energy infrastructure projects. Thanks to his many years of practical experience in the energy sector, he is familiar with both the regulatory requirements and the technical and economic conditions of complex projects. He brings this industry expertise to bear in his advice, which is grounded in legal principles while remaining clearly focused on practical implementation.
