Ole Köster is an Associate in Fieldfisher’s Berlin office and advises in the area of Corporate law.

He advises project developers, investors and energy utility companies on the implementation of national and international energy and infrastructure projects, in particular in the field of renewable energy and grid expansion.

A particular focus of his work is providing legal advice on transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. In this context, he supports our clients with due diligence processes and the drafting of the relevant contracts.

In addition, he assists with the assessment and review of energy regulatory matters and the drafting of corresponding agreements.

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, he worked as a qualified lawyer in the Hamburg office of a large British law firm.

He advises our clients in both German and English.

Ole Köster studied law in Hamburg and Beijing. He completed his legal traineeship in Hamburg, including placements at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (at the time) in the department for onshore wind energy regulation, as well as at a large U.S. law firm. He has been admitted to the Bar since 2024.
