Shari Odhiambo, LL.M. (King's College London) is an Associate in Fieldfisher's Berlin office and advises clients in the Media & Entertainment industry.

A particular focus of her practice is advising on film and television productions - from development and financing through production and distribution. She regularly assists clients with the drafting and negotiation of contracts and represents them in contentious matters within the media sector. In addition, she closely follows and advises on current legal developments at the intersection of media law and technology.

She advises our clients both in German and English.

She is a member of the Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI Deutschland e.V.) and the Afro-Deutsche Jurist:innen e.V. (ADJ).

Shari Odhiambo studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin and subsequently completed a Master’s of Laws (LL.M.) at King’s College London. During her studies in Berlin and London, she was awarded a scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). She then completed her legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal (Kammergericht), with placements at a leading national corporate law firm and a globally leading technology company.
