Partner, Head of the Competition Department

Michal Rothschild, head of the Antitrust and Competition Department, brings a wealth of experience having worked at the Israeli competition Authority (IAA) legal department, as well as in the Antitrust group in the New York law office of Shearman and Sterling.

Michal has successfully represented various clients in complex mergers, joint ventures and restrictive arrangements. Michal has also represented and consulted in issues regarding dominant position (monopolies) and in various regulatory issues such as the Anti Concentration law and the  regulation regarding the competition in the supermarkets sector and its suppliers. Michal also represented corporations and other legal entities before government agencies, including the Commissioner of the competition Authority and the competition Tribunal.

Michal is described in Legal 500 2015, as “the best at forecasting the antitrust authorities’ responses.”
