Partner. Audun primarily advises Norwegian and foreign companies within Oil and Gas and within Oil Service. He assists oil companies with a broad variety of regulatory issues relating to the concession system and the joint operating agreement, including necessary contacts and intervention with the authorities including the MPE and other governmental bodies. Furthermore, he assists with contracts, transactions and dispute resolution. He has assisted buyers or sellers in a large number of transactions regarding transfer of participating interest in production licences on the Norwegian continental shelf (including transfer of interests in producing fields) or in the sale of shares in oil companies. Further, he has extensive assistance from dispute resolution and mediation within Oil and Gas and Oil Services and has acted both in capacity as litigator, Arbitrator/Judge or as mediator. Partner. Christopher heads Thommessen’s Technology and Data Protection practice group and specialises within M&A, technology and data protection law. Emilie Falch is a Specialist Counsel in Thommessen. She is a dual qualified English and Norwegian lawyer and part of the shipping and offshore team. Emilie is an experienced shipping lawyer. She was several years with Wikborg Rein in their shipping offshore department in London and in Oslo. She has also been in-house legal counsel in DNV and worked with marine insurance (P&I and FDD) in Skuld. Emilie provides advice within all aspects maritime law. She has particular experience in assisting shipowners, charterers, yards and marine insurers with contractual advice and negotiations in addition to dispute resolution and court and arbitration proceedings in England and Norway. She also has experience with sale and purchase, financing and casualty work. Emilie is a board member of Incentra SA and vice president of WISTA Norway. She is part of the Center for Continuing Legal Education’s (Juristenes Utdanningssenter) academic committee for Shipping Offshore and she is an external examiner in English Law of Contract at the University of Oslo.

Ervin has long experience within M&A and capital markets transactions. He has been lead counsel on several large and complex national and international transactions, and has a special focus on the real estate and renewable energy markets. He is continuously ranked as a leading Norwegian lawyer within M&A by international rating agencies. Mr Auren is the head of Thommessen's transaction department.

Managing Associate Hedda works within banking and financing and debt capital markets, where she advises domestic and international corporations, sponsors, lenders, and issuers on various financing transactions and structures within the bank and bond markets, with a particular focus on acquisition financing. She also has experience working with large corporate restructurings, principally within the oil, gas and offshore industries. She is also qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales and a licensed attorney in New York and the District of Columbia (inactive).
Hedvig Moe

Partner Hedvig began her legal career at Thommessen in 2000 and returned to the firm in May 2023. In the intervening years, she held key positions at the National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime, where she primarily focused on financial crime and held the position as acting director. Hedvig has also held leadership roles in the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST), including Deputy Director, where she developed knowledge on topics such as geopolitics, national security, and foreign intelligence. This has also provided her with valuable experience in collaborating with the defense sector. Through these and several other public sector positions, she has gained a deep understanding of central and local administration, political processes, and legislative work. At Thommessen, she leads the firm's National Security Advisory, where she provides legal and strategic advice across all areas relevant to national security. This includes the Security Act, personnel security, foreign direct investment (FDI), and defense procurements. Hedvig is also responsible for the firm's advisory on compliance, export control, and sanctions legislation. Hedvig has substantial experience with crisis planning and management, as well as public and media relations.

Partner Henrik primarily works with dispute resolution and negotiations within shipping, the insurance market and other industries, as well as a variety of construction and project related disputes. Henrik has litigated several high-profile cases and has gained extensive experience with national and international arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. In recent years, Henrik has been heavily involved in disputes related to shipbuilding, cargo damage and casualties, insurance coverage (including all forms of marine insurance), charterparties, as well as larger project disputes.

Mr Henrik Hagberg has broad experience from working with both contentious and non-contentious matters within the entire shipping and offshore industry, inter alia in connection with shipbuilding and offshore construction, sale & purchase and financing of vessels and rigs, including project finance, emergency response and casualty investigation and marine and energy insurance related matters, including insurance cover disputes. Mr Hagberg also has experience from the Norwegian oil and gas industry, in particular with respect to the Norwegian gas export industry.

Partner Henrik works in our Renewable Energy and Infrastructure department and primarily focuses on the contractual side of larger energy and infrastructure projects as well as complex supply agreements in Norway and internationally. He regularly assists in contract negotiations, ongoing project follow-up, and, if necessary, in disputes that may arise. Henrik has led numerous international negotiations. Henrik has extensive experience with insurance matters – including project insurances and directors' liability insurances, among others. Henrik is part of Thommessen's sustainability law group and is closely involved with the sustainability regulations relevant to suppliers in energy and infrastructure projects. Henrik has received several awards for his work in project development, contracting, insurance, and energy.

Jenny is mainly working with commercial real estate transactions and commercial leases, and assists Norwegian and international clients in connection with sale and purchase of commercial real estate and negotiation of leases. Jenny has in recent years been involved in several of Norway's largest commercial real estate transactions. She manages and coordinates a dozen commercial real estate transactions each year, and also regularly assists as closing agent, as well as other issues related to legal real estate matters.

June Snemyr mainly advises clients within the oil- and gas industry, renewables sector as well as actors within alternative energy sources. She assists clients with energy and infrastructure projects, in regulatory matters, M&A and she regularly acts as legal advisor in commercial negotiations. June has unique experience with CCS projects after having served as acting General Counsel of Northern Lights JV second half 2022. In addition she has substantial experience working with offshore electrification projects, agreements on third party access to existing infrastructure, oil- and gas related M&A, questions under the Norwegian joint operating agreement, as well as infrastructure matters and product sales agreements. Partner Nanette works with litigation and arbitration and is particularly focused on professional liability cases and disputes relating to corporate and securities law. She has involved in and litigated several major cases before the courts, including before the Supreme Court. Nanette has also long experience providing regular advice to clients on Norwegian corporate and securities laws. In addition to dispute resolution, she assists Norwegian and international companies in connection with IPOs, equity issues and other capital market transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Specialist Counsel Øyvind has extensive experience within bankruptcy, restructuring (in and out of court) and other insolvency related matters. He has worked on several cross boarder restructuring matters, and acted for both the banks and the companies in financial distress. He also acts as a court appointed trustee in bankruptcy estates and for clients against both companies in the zone of insolvency and bankruptcy estates. Øyvind also holds experience in respect of securities, enforcement etc. and acts for a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, in this respect.

Managing Associate Rolf assists Norwegian and international clients in connection with commercial real estate transactions, commercial leases and real estate development projects etc. In recent years, Rolf has been involved in several of the largest real estate transactions in Norway, and acted as the head of the legal team in several of the midsize and large real estate transactions were Thommessen has been involved. In addition to a Master Degree i Law from the University in Bergen, Rolf also holds an LL.M. degree specialized in M&A, corporate law and international contract law from Penn State University in Pennsylvania, United States.

Partner Simon leads the real estate development initiative at Thommessen and has extensive expertise in all aspects of real estate development, including administrative law and planning and building law. Simon has extensive experience in assisting with all types of development projects, from smaller developments of individual properties to larger urban development projects and industrial projects. Over many years, Simon has been a key resource in several of Norway's largest real estate development projects. He also assists with real estate transactions, leasing of commercial properties, and other issues related to real estate law.

Partner. Thomas is a corporate generalist attorney with substantial transaction experience, in particular within the upstream oil and gas-, oil service-, industrial- and tech sectors. His broad M&A and corporate law practice includes corporate deals, asset transactions, fundraising processes and restructurings. He has been advising E&P companies on a range of issues, including a substantial number of license/asset transactions on the NCS. The last years, Thomas has also been advising tech companies in their growth and exit processes. He has been recognised in international legal rankings, both within corporate/M&A and oil and gas, for a number of years.

Tron is a recognized employment law adviser to Norwegian and international companies. He has litigated a number of cases concerning labour law and pensions and is admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court. Tron is also the author of the Norwegian Law Commentary on the Working Environment Act and he has written a book on Seamen's Law. He has experience from several industries, including oil and offshore, shipping and aviation. Recently, Tron has worked with restructuring processes, litigation and conflict management within the field of labor law. He was appointed as an expert member of the whistle blowing committee.

Partner Wenche Sædal has been working at Thommessen since 2012. She has over 12 years of experience in the field of public procurement, EU/EEA law, competition law, and more. Wenche has broad and extensive experience in public procurement, both for contracting authorities and suppliers. For many years, Wenche has also served as a key advisor in procurement matters for several private companies subject to procurement regulations. Wenche has handled numerous procurement cases for the Complaints Board for Public Procurement (KOFA) and the courts, including injunction cases and compensation cases. Wenche was appointed as a member of KOFA in 2023.
