In these exciting times for agritech innovation, the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) in Cirencester, UK, has proposed a £100m development centred on creating an innovation village for supporting farmers and landowners in developing sustainable solutions within the agritech space, such as for food production, protection of the environment and the economic growth of rural communities. They intend to submit a planning application to Cotswold District Council later this year after liaising with local residents and stakeholders.
