Chilean firm Carey has helped one of its regular clients, state-run copper mining company Codelco, refinance a US$250 million loan. Codelco refinanced a credit line granted by The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. The bank is believed to have hired Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría (Chile), but this was not confirmed before publication.

The transaction closed on 21 October.
