The department specialises in large transactions for industry clients, notably those in the pharmaceuticals, food and biotech sectors. Regulatory and contentious advice are also strengths of the team, including patent prosecution and enforcement work. Team leader Martín Mosteirin  has ‘great experience in life science matters’ and ‘stands out for his extensive knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry which is a very important plus for customers’. Martín Mosteirin

‘The knowledge demonstrated by Martin Mosteirin is a complete differential.

‘It is a very well-disposed team with technical knowledge and the advantage of being part of a firm that covers all areas of law, which allows clients to receive quality analysis.

‘Martín Mosteirin stands out for his extensive knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry which is a very important plus for customers. The knowledge of the particularities, regulations of the industry and the actors, makes the resolution of the issues raised much more agile. It is also very useful to know common practices.

‘Marval is one of the best law firms in Argentina. Very experienced lawyers with Strong knowledge on their areas of expertise.

‘Martin Monsterin has great experience in life science matters.

‘I think Marval’s life sciences team is fantastic! they have a very effective and efficient provision of services, always available to solve any problem with a deep knowledge of the corresponding issues and a very simple way to explain issues that are normally very complex, especially coming from a jurisdiction other than Argentina.

‘I must talk about Martin Mosteirin, there is no better person to deal with the issues of this area. He is very friendly, always available with an answer to any questions you have and with a simple proposal to confront the problems, it is a delight to work with him and his team.

‘Marval has two very strong points: (i) they have a very deep knowledge about the industry, demonstrated over many years advising the main multinational companies in the pharmaceutical industry; (ii) they have a fairly large team of lawyers (5 or 6) which is an important comparative advantage over the rest of the firms. The partner that leads, Martín Mosteirin, must be the most relevant pharma lawyer in the industry.

‘The plus is the technical and practical knowledge they have about the industry, which is very deep. They are very up-to-date on the problems of the industry and make innovative and very useful proposals.
