Greg Rogers is a Barrister specialising in public and private family law. He is also Deputy Head of Chambers, Treasure and a Pupil Supervisor.   

Position

Greg is a family specialist who practices in both Finance and Children work.

Greg has experience of dealing with Ancillary relief, TOLATA claims and applications under Schedule 1 Childrens Act 1989.

He has extensive experience of private law proceedings, public law proceedings, acting for Local Authorities, parents and children at all levels of the Family Court and before the Court of Appeal. 

The majority of his practice is public law children work including cases involving sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, alleged non-accidental injuries to children, child death and child sexual exploitation.

Greg is willing to undertake and equally at ease addressing the challenges presented by low assets cases as those with substantial and frequently business and/or foreign assets.  Not only an experienced advocate in court but a skilful negotiator, he recognises that more favourable outcomes, often outside those available to the court may be achieved through compromise.

 Greg prides himself on his sensitive and careful attitude towards clients whilst offering realistic advice and firm representation. Noted for “focusing on the issues without getting bogged down with the details” (Chambers and Partners 2016) through careful preparation and assessment of a case Greg presents achievable positions which frequently find favour with the court.
