Dorothea Gartland KC
Position
Dorothea specialises in the law in relation to children. In private law work her practice covers international and internal relocation of children and all areas of legal parenthood involving adoption, surrogacy and the legal recognition of parental status. In public law proceedings she is instructed most often on behalf of children through their Children’s Guardian in the most serious types of care proceedings.
She also sits as a part time judge in the family court hearing cases in both private and public law concerning children.
