Jayesh is a cross-qualified Solicitor Advocate and Barrister with rights to conduct litigation on a direct access basis. He is a qualified Mediator and completed the CIArb’s International Arbitration Law, Practice and Procedure module.

Career

Jayesh practises civil/commercial litigation having advised multinational corporations, including international steel, aluminium, freight and logistics companies and been involved in healthcare, construction and aviation consultancy company litigation. As part of his commercial focus, Jayesh has negotiated contracts covering a number of the industries mentioned above, particularly from India.

Jayesh is ex-chairman of the Hindu Lawyers Association (UK) and the Indian National Bar Association – UK Chapter. He has also served the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for British Hindus as Lead Secretariat advising Parliamentarians on matters relating to Hindus and India.

In 2015, Jayesh was asked to be a member of the core team which organised the historic British Indian community event at Wembley Stadium where the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the UK Prime Minister, David Cameron addressed the largest gathering of British Indians ever.

In 2017, Jayesh was awarded the “Best Professional in Business” at the London Asian Business Awards, securing the prize ahead of a renowned Silk and 2 other lawyers nominated in this category!
