Career
MB ChB Sheffield 1993. FRCS 1998. LLB Nottingham Law School 2007. Called 2007, Lincoln’s Inn. Jason practiced as a surgeon in the NHS for 12 years before retraining as a barrister. He specialises in medical law and personal injury. Jason is regularly instructed by Claimants in high value complex clinical negligence matters, particularly cases involving obstetric complications/ brain injuries/ spinal injuries/ amputations, and by Claimants and Defendants in serious PI. He regularly appears in the Coroner’s Court and represented the parents of a number of babies who died at Furness General Hospital. Jason sits as an Assistant Coroner in South Manchester.
